Why women end up playing supplement roulette
Five bottles later, you are spending more every month and still not sure what you are supposed to be taking.
The expensive part was never one bottle. It is buying bottle after bottle looking for the right formula.
So we stopped comparing promises and started comparing labels.
You were not comparing formulas.
You were comparing marketing.
- Menopause support
- Clinically studied ingredients
- Hormone balance
- Natural botanicals
- Multi-symptom support
Every bottle says a version of the same five things.
So turn the bottle around and ask six questions that have answers.
We put those six questions to five of the products women see most often. Here is what came back.
All five, side by side
Scroll sideways on a phone. Every competitor figure is what that brand published about its own product in August 2026.

Competitor information taken from each brand's own published product information in August 2026, supplemented in a small number of cases by major retailer listings of the same label where the brand publishes its Supplement Facts only as an image. Where a detail could not be verified from the brand itself we have said so rather than fill the gap.

- 500 mg botanical blend

Why it won: four systems in one gummy
Most menopause supplements pick a lane — traditional botanicals, or probiotics, or adaptogens. Still You is built as four separate systems inside one daily serving.
- Black Cohosh 200 mg
- Soy Isoflavones 200 mg
- Red Clover 100 mg
- L-Theanine
- Saffron
- Rhodiola
- Ashwagandha
- Sphaeranthus indicus
- Mangosteen
- Green Tea
- Moringa
- Gynostemma
- L. rhamnosus GG
- L. reuteri
- L. acidophilus
- B. bifidum
1,500 mg across three blends, plus 20 Billion CFU.
One gummy. One routine.
Of the five formulas we compared, Still You was the only one that put all four categories into the same daily product. That is the reason it ranked first — not the number of ingredients, but how they are allocated.
The menopause foundation: 200 + 200 + 100
All three amounts are printed on the panel, not folded into a blend total.
5× the listed extract weight
Important: what that number tells you
At 200 mg, black cohosh is one of the major components of Still You. At 40 mg it is a supporting one.
An ingredient being present does not tell you whether it was central to the formula. That is the single most useful thing to understand before you buy anything in this category, and it is visible on the panel of every product here except one.
The research behind the three core botanicals
across 22 articles2023meta-analysis
Menopause
Black cohosh extracts were associated with statistically significant improvements in overall menopausal symptoms and hot flashes compared with placebo.
trials pooled2026systematic review
and meta-analysis
In women aged 40 to 65 experiencing hot flashes, red clover isoflavone preparations produced a statistically significant reduction in hot-flash frequency versus placebo. Researchers described the effect as moderate.
intake in the trials2meta-analyses,
honestly mixed
A widely cited meta-analysis found soy isoflavone supplements significantly reduced both the frequency and severity of hot flashes versus placebo. More recent analyses have been less uniform — some find improvement in selected menopausal or psychological symptoms without a significant effect on every vasomotor endpoint.
Important research context: extract weight is not active compound weight
200 mg of soy isoflavones extract is not automatically 200 mg of isoflavones, and 100 mg of red clover extract is not automatically the dose used in every red clover trial. The trials studied specific preparations at specific standardizations.
This is true of every product in this comparison. We are pointing it out because a brand that hides it is hoping you never learn it.
These were not chosen because they are trendy
They were chosen from the categories that have actually been studied in humans for menopause — and then included at amounts you can read on the panel.

Plant-derived, and one of the most studied botanicals in the entire menopause category.
A plant isoflavone source with one of the longest research histories in menopausal women.
A botanical evaluated across nine randomized menopause trials pooled in 2026.
The hot flash may last minutes. The bad night follows you into tomorrow.

“I can fall asleep, but then I am wide awake at three.”
“I am exhausted, but my brain will not switch off.”
This is the part most traditional botanical formulas ignore entirely. Still You gives it a separate 500 mg blend: L-theanine, saffron, rhodiola and ashwagandha.
randomized, double-blind8weeks,
placebo-controlled
At 300 mg of root extract twice daily, the ashwagandha group showed statistically significant improvements in menopause rating scores and menopause-specific quality-of-life scores versus placebo.
randomized, double-blind12weeks,
placebo-controlled
At 28 mg per day of a standardized saffron extract, the saffron group showed significantly greater improvement in psychological symptoms than placebo.
randomized controlled trial4weeks, stress and
sleep-quality measures
Adults taking 200 mg per day showed improvements across several stress-related and sleep-quality measures.
The part nobody mentions until the bloating starts
We are keeping this claim narrow: these probiotics are there for digestive support. We are not going to tell you a probiotic blend balances hormones, because the label establishes nothing remotely like that.
What matters for this comparison is simpler. Of the five products here, only Still You and Provitalize contain probiotics at all — and Provitalize is a gut formula that leaves out the menopause botanicals entirely.
If bloating arrived alongside everything else, that is one fewer bottle on the shelf.
And a third 500 mg blend on top
The Botanical Blend adds Sphaeranthus indicus, mangosteen, green tea, moringa and gynostemma. The label prints the 500 mg total rather than each amount, and we would rather say so than let you assume otherwise. No weight-loss claim is made for this blend, by us or by Still You.
What “clinically studied” actually means
The finished Still You gummy has not been through its own clinical trial, and nothing on this page is presenting it as though it has. Every study cited here concerns individual ingredients and ingredient preparations.
We think that is worth saying plainly — and we get more sceptical, not less, when every ingredient suddenly becomes “clinically proven” the moment it goes into somebody's bottle.
The other four, without the padding
None of these are bad products. They are narrower ones, and the trade-off is visible on each label.
O Positiv MENO
- Strength
- Every active printed individually — KSM-66 ashwagandha 300 mg, chasteberry 40 mg, black cohosh 40 mg. No proprietary blends.
- Trade-off
- No soy isoflavones, no red clover, no probiotics, no additional botanical system.
- Key comparison
- 40 mg black cohosh against Still You's 200 mg listed extract weight.
- Routine
- 2 a day, 30 servings. The gummy carries 4 g added sugar.
Estroven Complete
- Strength
- A deliberate single-active strategy built on standardized rhapontic rhubarb extract, ERr 731, which has human clinical research behind it. Cheapest per day here.
- Trade-off
- No black cohosh, soy isoflavones or red clover in Complete. No probiotics, no rest blend, no botanical system.
- Key comparison
- Facts panel published only as an image, so amounts cannot be checked from the brand's page text.
- Routine
- 1 caplet a day, 28 or 60 caplets.
Provitalize
- Strength
- A genuine gut formula — the brand states 68.2 Billion CFU, with turmeric, moringa and curry leaf.
- Trade-off
- No black cohosh, no soy isoflavones, no red clover, and no L-theanine, saffron, rhodiola and ashwagandha rest blend.
- Key comparison
- Its four strains sit inside a single 400 mg proprietary blend.
- Routine
- 2 a day, 30 servings, about $1.77 a day.
Hormone Harmony
- Strength
- The longest ingredient list here — roughly twelve extracts including KSM-66 ashwagandha, rhodiola, chaste tree, maca, chamomile and fennel.
- Trade-off
- Individual amounts are not published in the brand's page text, so a careful shopper cannot check what she is getting.
- Key comparison
- Ingredient count is not the same thing as formula transparency.
- Routine
- 3 capsules a day, 72 capsules for 24 servings, about $2.33 a day.
The one-bottle test
Before you buy any menopause supplement, ask one question: “What will I still need to buy after this?”
Still You was the formula in our comparison that left the fewest boxes unchecked.
Already taking something? Turn the bottle around.
Take the last menopause supplement you bought and answer these:
- Does it tell you how much black cohosh?
- Does it contain soy isoflavones? Red clover?
- Are the core amounts printed, or folded into a blend total?
- Is there anything at all in it for the 3 a.m. waking?
- Does it include probiotics? How many CFU?
- Is any organism identified by strain, not just species?
- How many pills a day?
- How many days does one bottle last?
If you did not know those answers, you were never comparing formulas. You were comparing promises.
That is not a reason to trust Still You. It is a reason to check Still You the same way — and unlike most of this category, the answers are printed where you can find them.
From women who were sceptical first
“I have already tried supplements that did nothing.”
I really did not want to buy another supplement. No fireworks, no overnight miracle. I just started having more decent nights around week 5, and now my nights have become much more predictable. Five stars because that's what I actually wanted.
“How long before I would know?”
I am the person who reads reviews and assumes half of them are nonsense. I'd already tried sleep tea and another menopause gummy. Around week 5 I finally had enough better nights to stop calling it coincidence. I'm not staying awake for hours anymore.
“Can one gummy really hold all of that?”
I read labels before I buy anything, especially supplements. I checked the probiotic blend and liked that I could actually see what I was taking. I gave it a full month before judging it, and I'm getting longer stretches of sleep.
“It is not only the hot flashes for me.”
The first thing I noticed was during school drop-off: I had a normal amount of patience. Then it clicked that I'd had several better nights in a row. I'm a lot closer to myself than I was a few months ago.

The best formula does nothing sitting in the bottle
Routine simplicity is not a soft criterion. It decides whether you are still taking the product in week eight — which is roughly when the research says you would have any basis for judging it.
And the number almost nobody checks before paying
Still You is 60 gummies, a 60-day bottle. O Positiv and Provitalize are 30 days. Hormone Harmony is 24 servings. Same shelf, very different month.
0 g added sugar, on a plant pectin base rather than gelatin, with no sugar alcohols and no artificial dyes.

Another menopause supplement should not cost you another month of guessing.
You now know what to look for: the ingredients, the amounts, the research behind them, the formula architecture, the routine and the supply. Among the five products we compared, Still You was the one that put those pieces together most completely.
If you are tired of building your menopause routine one bottle at a time, this is the formula we would choose first from this group.

Who should buy something else
A recommendation you can trust has to tell you when it does not apply.
Still You contains soy. If a physician has told you to avoid soy, this is not the formula for you.
If seeing every individual ingredient amount matters more to you than formula breadth, buy O Positiv. If you want one standardized botanical rather than a multi-ingredient formula, look at Estroven Complete. If you mainly want a high-CFU probiotic, Provitalize is the specialist.
And if you use hormone therapy or prescription medication, or you have a hormone-sensitive, thyroid or liver condition, take the Supplement Facts panel to your physician or pharmacist before starting anything on this page.
Frequently asked questions
I have tried menopause supplements before and nothing worked. Why would this be different?
We cannot promise you a result, and any page that does is one you should close.
What we can tell you is what is different about the formula: 200 mg of black cohosh rather than a token amount, soy isoflavones and red clover alongside it, a separate blend aimed at the 3 a.m. waking, probiotics for digestion, one gummy a day and a 60-day bottle. If the products you tried before did not contain those things, you were not testing the same thing.
Is Still You hormone therapy?
No. Still You contains no hormones and is not hormone therapy. Hormone therapy remains the most effective treatment for vasomotor symptoms for many appropriate candidates, and nothing here is a substitute for medically indicated treatment.
Can I take it alongside hormone therapy or medication?
That depends on you as an individual. If you use hormone therapy or prescription medication, or you have a hormone-sensitive, thyroid, liver or other medical condition, show the complete Supplement Facts panel to your physician or pharmacist before adding any supplement.
Does it contain soy?
Yes. The formula includes soy isoflavones extract. If you have been advised to avoid soy, do not use it without speaking to your healthcare professional.
What are the exact amounts of the three main botanicals?
200 mg black cohosh root extract, 200 mg soy isoflavones seed extract and 100 mg red clover aerial parts extract — a 500 mg Hormonal Balance Blend.
What exactly is in the probiotic blend?
20 Billion CFU total from four organisms: the named strain Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, plus Lactobacillus reuteri, Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum. The label prints the total CFU for the blend rather than a count per organism.
How many do I take, and how long does a bottle last?
One gummy per day. Each bottle holds 60 gummies, so one bottle is a 60-day supply, with 0 g of added sugar.
How long should I give it?
Still You recommends evaluating the routine over roughly twelve weeks rather than judging it after a few days, which is consistent with how the ingredient research is conducted.
